Phuket was great, met many new and old friends, here's the update
A quick update about our recent trip to Thailand. We had a fabulous time meeting up with many old-time friends, ex colleagues, industry members, clients, and BASCO community members.
It was great to see you after so long and the warmth, friendship, and rekindling of boating interests was fun and invigorating.
A couple of points of note:
BASCO Boating is thrilled to announce the launch of BASCO's Luxury Online Boat Auctions in Thailand. Now tailored to boat owners and boat buyers in the "Boat Guru "and Luxury boating categories, Luxury Online Boat Auctions provides an innovative solution for boat owners with boats over 60' feet. While Online Boat Auctions will be launched in Phuket, Thailand, it is an already established BASCO service to sell boats online, and it can be faster than traditional methods. It is also suitable for boats that have proven difficult to sell and the owner is now ready to make their move.
BASCO Boating brought Online Boat Auctions to Asia in 2017 through a licence with an Australian firm, but in 2019 developed an Asia-specific online boat auction program and marketing system that was tailored for better results for Asia. With a new platform being released shortly, especially for luxury boats, this service compliments our existing Boat Guru Marketplace which caters to boats under 60'.
A new Preferred Yacht Advisor collaboration with an existing Phuket yacht sales professional (aka yacht broker) will be announced soon to lead the new service for boat owners in Thailand.

Thailand International Boat Show (TIBS) scheduled to run 12-15th January 2023 at Royal Phuket Marina, Phuket.
